After all the mutt does not know how to do it on his own and trusts you, the bossman (or bosswoman) to keep him healthy, happy and full of joie-de-vivre.  Here are a few ways to ensure your pooch stays healthy.

Food

It is very convenient to go to the nearest superstore and buy a whole lot of processed, dry dog food that can be used for months. This type of food is best avoided because it could contain preservatives and chemicals that are harmful. Feed your sheepadoodle fresh stuff.  There is no rule that dogs should not consume fruits and vegetables—they are better since they contain fiber. Give him fresh, clean and hygienic meats and some liver from time to time to ensure he gets iron and vitamin A. Do not, repeat, do not give gluten containing foods to your dog and avoid rice. Feed him boiled lentils instead, possibly flavored with some chicken or meat. Give him a dose of coconut oil from time to time. Exercise
